Have you done Class lll whitewater and are looking to step up your game and do something more exciting? This is the run for you!

Salmon River Full Day Experience:
A full day of exciting whitewater rapids, with enough time in between to catch your breath in pools of crystal clear water. A handful of waterfalls dot this run, and we will take our time to let you take photos with them. There is a cavern after Gaping Maw(Class lV) that we will pull over at and let you hike up and explore as well.

The Rapids:
This run starts off with a bang! You’ll launch from Butler Flat, and a few minutes later you’ll be expertly navigated down the river into the Miracle Mile. A jam packed series of Class lV rapids that will get you’re heart racing right off the bat! Followed by a series of Class lll and more Class lV rapids, it ends with the long, technical, and super exciting Class lV rapid named The Gaping Maw!

Itinerary

You will arrive at the meet point in the morning, where we will do a brief meet and greet before shuttling you to the Put-In. You will get river ready, as we call it, with your guides assigning you with appropriate gear that you will be wearing on the water all day.

Please be prepared to provide us with your height and weight and shoe size so we can make sure to have the appropriate size Wetsuit and shoes for you.

Highlights

One of the most special places in California, as we are only able to boat this stretch of river for such a short frame of time. Once that snowpack starts melting, it’s time to go!
